Soundtrap and Young Producers Group hosted the annual Beat Battle at the Spotify Los Angeles office on February 7, 2025. This event highlighted the limitless potential of young creators and the vital role of educators in fostering artistic expression.

Honoring educators

During the submission process, students nominated their educators to win our inaugural Outstanding Music Educator Awards, recognizing their teachers' guidance, passion, and inspiration. The winners demonstrate the critical role educators play in empowering young creators to thrive.

Grammy-nominated artist judges

 

Professional artists Zyah Belle, 6ix, and Kevin Chung evaluated student submissions providing them with feedback and advice providing an authentic learning experience. Zyah Belle electrified the crowd with a show-stopping performance.

Industry partners

 

Through strategic partnerships with leading organizations including Riot Games, Warner Music, AiAiAi, Artiphon, and Roland, students explored Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways in the music industry. These connections provide valuable exposure to industry-standard tools and career opportunities in music technology, sound design, and digital media production.
